Dr. Tony Wan completed his MD undergraduate training and core internal medicine residency at UBC. During his General Internal Medicine fellowship at UBC, Dr. Wan went to Ottawa for one year to complete a clinical fellowship in thrombosis. He is a member of The Canadian Venous Thromboembolism Clinical Trials and Outcomes Research (CanVECTOR) Network.

Dr. Wan divides his clinical time between the inpatient clinical teaching unit service at St. Paul’s Hospital and the Rapid Access Thrombosis Clinic, where he focuses on outpatient management of venous thromboembolism and anticoagulation.
